STATEMENT OF FAITH
WE BELIEVE the Scriptures are infallible and inerrant, without error in every word.

WE BELIEVE in one triune God existing in three Persons, each equal in attributes.
​
WE BELIEVE the eternal Son of God, Jesus Christ, became man in order to die as a substitutionary sacrifice for sin.
​
WE BELIEVE the Holy Spirit indwells every believer at the moment of salvation and empowers us to serve God.
​
WE BELIEVE every person is born a sinner and can be reborn through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
​
WE BELIEVE that the Rapture of the Church is the next event in God’s prophetic calendar.

WE BELIEVE Satan is real and the enemy of God and all His followers.

WE BELIEVE that every believer will spend eternity in God’s presence and every one who rejects Jesus Christ will spend an eternity in the Lake of Fire.
OUR HISTORY
Our church began meeting in the early 1960s as "Brigantine Baptist Church", an outreach extension of the first Baptist Church of Atlantic City under the leadership of Rev. John Erwin. Before the building was constructed in 1970 the small congregation met in Brigantine Central School, which is now the Brigantine Library.

In April 16, 1969, our fledgling church became incorporated with the State of New Jersey as a non-profit organization.
